Documentation Specialist (Technical Writer)

– Develop comprehensive documentation that meets organizational standards.
– Work independently and also with global teams.
– Author and update deliverables for online and printed documentation.
– Attend daily stand up meetings.
– Update status report to the lead/manager on a daily basis.
– Perform final review and editing of documentation before product releases.
– Adhere to editorial standards.
– Interact with product team, engineering team, and editorial team to ensure the development of high quality documentation.
– Create graphical images, flow charts, diagrams, and GIF images for inclusion in documentation.
Preferred Skills:
– Knowledge of topic-based authoring.
– Good understanding of DDLC and SDLC processes.
– Experience in Agile methodology and JIRA.
– Good understanding of content management systems.
– Hands-on experience in Madcap Flare / Document 360.
– Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication (both written & verbal) skills in English with the ability to express complex technical information in a clear and precise manner.
– Experience in Technical Writing about enterprise software or similar applications.
– Skilled in core information development processes: content planning, content creation and content review.
– Experience in the API documentation.
– Extensive experience in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
– Proficiency in the healthcare domain.
– Working knowledge in DITA, XML and HTML.
– Experience in Git is preferred.
